Our Team

Our operations team consists of Independent Contractors who all have a high level of equestrian experiences and knowledge, and all sharing the same love of standardbreds.

HAYLEE MCNOE

Haylee joined Stable to Stirrup in August 2023 as our Administrator and has progressed into her role as Trust Manager. Haylee brings a wealth of knowledge in non-profit administration and accounting experience along with a genuine love of standardbreds stemming from her childhood pony, a 14hh standardbred mare called Teddy. Haylee has experience in riding, training, and showing standardbreds and while she no longer rides, she remains involved in promoting life after racing and the standardbred breed.

madison Strong

In June 2022, after completing her NZ Certificate in Rural Animal Technology, Madison (Maddy) joined the team at Stable to Stirrup as a Rider. Maddy has recently been made our Head Rider and Operations Assistant. 

Maddy has been involved with horses her whole life and has a strong passion for them. From training her foal, to competing in eventing and show jumping. Maddy enjoys the opportunity to work with the horses at Stable to Stirrup and is excited to learn different techniques in riding and training.

Amelia McGill

Amelia joined the Stable to Stirrup team in December 2024 as a rider. Amelia is an experienced classical dressage rider and has ridden a range of established standardbreds. Amelia has a particular interest in biomechanics and science-based methods. Amelia holds an ESNZ coaching qualification along with National Trade Academy qualifications in Equine Skills.

grace stewart

Grace joined Stable to Stirrup in December 2024 as a Rider. Grace has been riding since she was a child and has experience with OTTBs. Riding Standardbreds is new for Grace and has proven she has the skills and experience necessary to help us give these horses the best start to ridden life.
